  1. Had a great 5 hours at the Crotch today with the family. Didn't want to deal with the madness that is Vermont skiing on a Holiday so we decided to go to the hill less skied. I found fantastic coverage on everything except Jupiter's Storm (didn't ski it). Snowed the entire time we were there and they got around 2-3". Very edgable. Sorry but no pics. Even had a@Weatherman sighting in the bathroom as I was leaving. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Northeast Mountain Sports mobile app
  2. The night started off alright. Then it rained ice. The mountain iced. The cars iced. Our gear iced. The roads iced. All we were missing was Smirnoff Ice.
  3. As we arrived at Crotched last night for the adult race league, we noticed an excavator working a big hole in the parking lot. It turns out that they had a pipe break underneath the parking lot at 1:30am Saturday. I'm told that it took out 3 cars in the process. No word on who the lucky people are who got new cars courtesy of Peak Resorts.
  4. Firm and fast was the story of our opening night. Decent course setup. Lighting is at least improved at CM this yr. Was a real safety issue in spots last season. Our NMS team finished 3rd on the night, just out of 2nd but we were missing a couple guys and we'll all improve as we get re acclimated to gate racing. Great to see everyone on the team and share some beers afterwards! Sent from my moto g(6) using Northeast Mountain Sports mobile app
  5. We will be racing Wednesday night again this yr. Let me know who wants to join...if we have enough interest I will make 2 teams. We have a good mix and fun crew who enjoys the racing, free skiing before/after gates as well as the social scene in the bar afterwards. All details below...its a crazy deal even if you aren't super into racing. $150 for 10 nights of skiing if you max it out. Ticket works 1pm-9pm https://www.crotchedmtn.com/adult-race-league/
  6. Crotched was surprisingly good last night. They were blowing loads of snow and did a great job with the surfaces all over the hill. A vast improvement since Sunday.
  7. I'm starting seasonal threads for the 3 mtns I will be visiting on my Peaks Pass next yr Looking forward to getting my son enrolled in the Tigers Mtn Devo program at CM next yr. Talked to a few of the coaches this past season at ARL and it seems like a very solid program.
  8. Did a quick session at CM today. Skied both on and off map woods. Not many rocks, some roots and stumps. Overall it was pretty sweet skiing. Here are some pictures. Tbar line. West ledges Next to Jupiter’s Storm Sent from my iPhone using Northeast Mountain Sports mobile app
